Infection Treatment at Home
Care Pathway

Hospital-grade infection treatment — without the hospital stay

IV antibiotic therapy, wound infection management, and PICC line care delivered at home by specially trained nurses.

Many patients who are medically stable enough to leave the hospital still need weeks of IV antibiotic therapy to clear a complex infection. In the past, that meant staying inpatient for the entire course. Today, our infusion-trained nurses bring that same treatment home — administering IV antibiotics on schedule, managing PICC and central lines, monitoring for adverse reactions, and collecting lab specimens to confirm the infection is responding. For patients with wound infections or MRSA, we combine antibiotic therapy with specialized wound care and isolation precaution education. The result: faster recovery, lower infection risk from hospital-acquired organisms, and the comfort of being home with family.

Is this right for you?

You have a PICC line or central line that needs professional management at home
A surgical wound or injury has become infected and requires skilled treatment
You've been diagnosed with MRSA or another resistant organism
Your infectious disease physician has recommended home-based IV therapy
